BAS GEF SGP SHEEP PROJECT
• Project Title: Conservation of the Genetic Makeup of the Barbados Blackbelly Sheep & Improvements of the Marketing Opportunities.
• Funded by the UNDP Small Grants Programme & Co-funded by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
• Main Goal: to reduce the inappropriate sheep breeding practices of the participating rural small sheep farmers by at least 75%.  
• Key Outputs: Creation of a Breed Society, Database on BBbS, Established Codes of Practice for Production of BBbS.
